Thanks For The Wings
"Remember, no man is a failure who has friends."
- Clarence the Angel
As we enter a new year, I want to send a heartfelt thank you for being a part of my tribe. Whether you connected with me from my book, blog, photography or artwork, I'm grateful to have you along for this crazy ride.
It's A Wonderful Life is a staple for Christmas Eve television in my house. Poor George Bailey is a miserable failure who gets himself further and further in a hole and is about ready to call it quits. But then, thanks to Clarence the Angel, he gets a glimpse into what life would be like if he were never born. George then is helped out of a tough time by his friends who he had always helped out before.
After I lost my job about two and a half years ago, like George Bailey, I, too, was helped out by many amazing people who rallied around me through a tough time (you all know who you are!). In the months and years after, I'm so humbled to have an amazing (and growing!) support system that saw me through business startups, book launches, fear, successes, failures and more.
As long as you have people who surround you with love, support and encouragement, you will never be a failure.
Wishing you all warm Christmas wishes.
And thanks for the wings,
