There’s No Shame in Pressing “Pause”

Every now and then, we need to take a breather. Take a break. Press the pause button. 

Life’s responsibilities can be crushing. We have so much to do and so much to accomplish. But use today for that day of rest you need. You are no good to yourself or your goals when you’re burned out. TWEET THIS 

Do something that makes you happy. For me, it’s either painting, cooking or catching up on my favorite shows on Netflix. I don't give a crap that my house is messy, the groceries aren't bought or the laundry isn't folded. Those tasks are simply not important to me on my day off. And that's ok!

And if you’re stuck finding something that helps you decompress and unwind, take the advice of the amazing author Elizabeth Gilbert.
